Our Housing

Asylum Pride House’s current program runs out of a five-bedroom apartment in West Philadelphia PA. This space is dedicated exclusively to LGBTQIA+ individuals seeking asylum in the US. Upon placement, we also provide necessary initial resources like hygiene supplies as well as basic clothing. While enrolled, individuals are provided with crucial referrals to community service providers in the area. Common referrals include:

Our Program Timeline

Our West Philly apartment offers long term housing and individuals actively seeking asylum are eligible to stay up until three months after they receive their work permits.

During this later time in the program, Asylum Pride House assists in referrals to career centers, ESL, and certification programs to prepare them for their next steps.

As our housing capacity is limited, Asylum Pride House works with a local and national network of asylum seeker housing providers to connect individuals to safe and secure housing resources.
