Louisa is a dual-degree Master’s student in Social Work and Public Health at Temple University, specializing in health and social policy with a strong focus on housing and immigration advocacy. Born in the United Arab Emirates, she moved to the United States at age 11 and later made Philadelphia her home. Louisa first joined Asylum Pride House as a volunteer before becoming a case manager—a role she cherishes. Fluent in French and currently learning Spanish, she is passionate about connecting folks to the vital services and community they need to thrive. A proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, she lives with her partner and their beloved cats, Shmule and Lucy.
